Introduction:

With an aim to inspire creativity and foster enjoyment and appreciation of art, the World Children Art Awards offers a unique platform for children and teenagers to share their love for art and showcase their artistic talents.

Make A Wish

Every wish carries our deepest desires and dreams. Whether your wish is simple or grand, it reflects a beautiful imagination of life or a hope for the future.

Now, please close your eyes and silently make your special wish...

Draw your wishes on paper with colors and brushes!

Section:

Children or teenagers aged 14 years old or younger are invited to join the competition in the designated section below.

Size:

Artwork can be drawn with any painting materials. The artwork (for both painting or Chinese painting) must be two dimensional and drawn on the paper no larger than A3 size (420 x 297mm), either in horizontal or vertical format.

Prizes:

Individual (Each Section)    

Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up

Gold 20%, Silver 25%, Bronze 30%                 
A certificate of participation will be presented to all other participants.

Gold (35 or more prize winners with at least 3 Gold Awards or above)

WCACA Outstanding Instructor Award

Instructor of Group with WCACA Art Education Excellence Award 
Instructor of Champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up winner
*Maximum 2 instructors for each group. Instructor's name must be written on application form.

 

Evaluation Criteria:

Theme Matching 10%、Composition 30%、Creativity 30%、Skill 30%

*Only Composition, Creativity and Skill will be counted in Chinese painting.

Entry Fee:

HKD/RMB$160* for each artwork 

Including Certificate and Medal (prize winners only)

Certificate will be sent by SF Express (pay on delivery). Administrative fee for return of artwork is HKD/RMB$70**, please refer to point 8 of Rules of Competition.

How to Join:

Individual Application
1. Register online and y
ou will receive a confirmation email after submitting the application form.
2. Mark the Application Number, Applicant’s Name and Contact Number on the back of the painting. 
3. Post the painting to Room 903B, Nanyang Plaza, 57 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong (Attn to WCACA).


Group Application

(For all parties that enroll in the name of a group. No participants limit. )
1. Download the Group Application Form. Complete the form and ensure all the details are correct. Submit the form via email. 
2. Download the
Group Label. Fill in the information and stick it on the back of each painting. 
3. Post a crossed cheque payable to Room 903B, Nanyang Plaza, 57 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong (Attn to WCACA).

*For Non-Hong Kong region participants, it is suggested to post the artwork 2-3 weeks prior to the deadline for fear of affecting judging process.

11 February 2025 (Result will be released on website, prize winners/group participants will be informed by e-mail individually.)

Rules of Competition:

  1. Artwork must be two dimensional and drawn on paper no larger than A3 size (420 x 297mm), either in horizontal or vertical format.

  2. Chinese painting on rice paper must be mounted before submission. The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any damage caused during storage or exhibition. 

  3. Each participant can submit more than one artwork for the competition. (ONLY the best entry will be awarded)

  4. Artwork should be original without violation of copyright and not be exhibited before.

  5. Participants should make sure all information in the application form, including Chinese and English name, age, entry section, address and e-mail address is correct as it will be used for issuance of result notice and certificate. Once submitted, an administration fee of HK$50 will be charged to change information on submitted application.

  6. For all parties that participated by Group Application Form, all information related to the competition will be sent to this Group Contact Person but not individual participants.

  7. Once submitted, all entry fee and paintings will not be refunded and returned. An administration fee of HK$50 will be charged to change information on submitted application.

  8. Administrative fee for return of artwork is HK$70, the applicant mustagree that the organizer is not responsible for any damage or loss that mayoccur during the return process before applying. (Winning entries of Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and non-Hong Kong entries will not be returned and will be kept by the Organizer,the Organizer is not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur during the return process. )

  9. The decision of the judges will be final and binding on all parties concerned.

  10. Hong Kong and non-Hong Kong entries will be judged together.

  11. Copyright of all submissions belongs to World Children Arts & Culture Association. The association reserves the right to use all or part of the artworks for publishing, releasing and exhibition purposes.

  12. In case the submitted artwork infringes intellectual property rights, the participant accepts full liability for any legal actions, claims and costs resulting from such infringement.

  13. World Children Arts & Culture Association reserves the right to change the rules and regulations without prior notification, please refer to the updated information from our website.

  14. Upon submission of the application form, all participants accept the rules and regulations.

  15. In case of any inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these rules and regulations of the competition, the Chinese version shall prevail.
